Gotcha Day Continued...

We finally made it!!!

So we are all sitting there preparing to meet our children for the first time and I am getting the camera ready when I hear our guide say..."is this your baby?" I look up and the orphanage director is holding her!! But hold on mama it's not your turn yet...she then walks Meili back behind the curtain until it's our turn. Whoah I wasn't expecting that!! Umm can you please bring me back my child?!

Finally the moment we had been waiting for for so long.....

Hutang Lane

Hutong Lane Pictures...

This was a tour we took in Beijing. Hutang Lane is an old neighborhood where 7 families live in close nit quarters all sharing one courtyard. It was very very cool and I think it was my favorite tour that we did in China. It definitly made me appreciate what we have here in America so much more. We are so very blessed we don't even know how blessed we are...

On this tour we also got to go inside of a families home to see what their life looks like inside one of these tiny homes. She was as happy and as sweet as she could be and it was our pleasure to get an inside look on what her everyday life is like. Enjoy the pictures...
